As a two volume set your order may require extra shipping costs, certainly for expedited or International orders. It also has a corner-bump, even smaller and without a crinkle minuscule scuffs at the head & tail of the spine and virtually no other visible wear. Volume II has red hard board covers and spine with gold titling matching Volume I. There are two tiny chips, and a minuscule scuff at the head of the spine a minor crinkled-corner-bump and virtually no other surface or edge wear, or shelf rubbing. Volume I has black hard board covers and spine with gold titling.

They are not ex-library copies, and have no remainder marks. Both volumes have complete pages of text and photos that are clean, unmarked and securely bound. They each have a 1976 copyright by author, John Toland and state Doubleday & Company, Inc., as the publisher.

This two volume set of hardcover books, each missing their dust jacket, could possibly be Book Club Editions yet, there are no back cover, pock mark indicators.
